Dr. Megan Miller has trained and competed in dog agility for over 18 years. At a very young age, Dr. Miller realized she wanted to give back to the dog sport community by becoming a veterinarian. She attended UC Davis for both her Bachelor’s and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees. When her school schedule allowed, Dr. Miller worked as a dog trainer and would always make time to educate veterinary school colleagues about positive reinforcement training. Dr. Miller has special interests in preventative medicine, animal behavior, and physical rehabilitation. She believes client education is vitally important in providing patients with the best care. Dr. Miller is also Fear Free Certified and strives to decrease her patients’ fear and anxiety associated with veterinary visits.
Outside of work, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and making people smile through photography and videography. She lives with and trains two Border Collies, Reckon and Mae.
