Born and raised in the subtropical island of Taiwan, I became a Californian during my teenage years. I studied Animal Science with specialization in animal behavior at University of California, Davis, where I was exposed to a variety of animal related jobs. Through my experience I learned that I really enjoy helping to preserve the unique bond between people and their animals. After working for a short period of time as a veterinary assistant, I went back to my alma mater for veterinary school and received my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. If you have visited UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, you may have met me acting as a tour guide in my occasional spare time. Since I utilize both conventional and Traditional Chinese Medicine for my own health, I understand the benefit of the integrative approach. I am certified in veterinary acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Tui-Na (Chinese medical massage) through the Chi Institute in Florida. I strive to provide high quality medicine and would love the opportunity to care for you and your furry family member.

I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Please let me know if you prefer to use this language to communicate.
