I became part of the Meridian Veterinary Care family in June of 2020. You will mostly find me in reception to greet you and check your fur babies in. I am also a Registered Veterinary Technician and have worked in the Vet field for 20 years. I graduated from UC San Diego with a BS in Biology in 1996 and was planning to enter the human medical field when I decided to follow my true passion, which was helping animals. Since then, I have done it all, from kennels, reception, customer care, nursing, dentistry, surgery, emergency care to office management.
I was also a student at UC Davis Veterinary School from 2011-2014 but in 2014 life took me in another direction and left UC Davis so I could be a mother to my son again. I returned to working as an RVT in 2015 while starting my own side business which I currently still manage while working at Meridian. I love my job and believe in Integrative Holistic Veterinary Medicine because I have come to know that health & wellness for our beloved animals can be achieved in more ways than one. In my “spare” time, I offer animal healing services that combine my experience as a Reiki Master, certified level I sound healer, aromatherapy, energy intuitive/empath & telepathic communicator. I love to paint, create & explore anything artistic & new. My dream life would be to play in the ocean with the dolphins and turtles, lay on warm beaches in Hawaii, and wake up in the morning in my home surrounded by nature and coconut trees.
My fur family currently includes 3 cats and 2 dogs (all rescues) & all neighborhood wildlife creatures that come to visit us. I look forward to meeting you and all your fur babies and it is my goal to make their visit as fun and pleasant as possible!
