Dr. Angie Stamm
Angie received her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2001 from UC Davis. Since then she has been seeking experience, education and skills in integrative modalities such as acupuncture, chiropractic, herbal medicine, ozone therapy and more in an effort to provide more healing tools for her patients. She realized as a teenager with chronic debilitating headaches that the Western medicine paradigm was limited in scope. True healing is a holistic pursuit which cannot become reliant upon pharmaceuticals aimed at masking symptoms. Dr. Stamm’s passion is seeing true transformation in her patients.
Dr. Tsung-Yu Tsai
Born and raised in the subtropical island of Taiwan, I became a Californian during my teenage years. I studied Animal Science with specialization in animal behavior at University of California, Davis, where I was exposed to a variety of animal related jobs. Through my experience I learned that I really enjoy helping to preserve the unique bond between people and their animals. After working for a short period of time as a veterinary assistant, I went back to my alma mater for veterinary school and received my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. If you have visited UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, you may have met me acting as a tour guide in my occasional spare time. Since I utilize both conventional and Traditional Chinese Medicine for my own health, I understand the benefit of the integrative approach. I am certified in veterinary acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Tui-Na (Chinese medical massage) through the Chi Institute in Florida. I strive to provide high quality medicine and would love the opportunity to care for you and your furry family member.
I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Please let me know if you prefer to use this language to communicate.
Dr. Megan Miller
Dr. Megan Miller has trained and competed in dog agility for over 18 years. At a very young age, Dr. Miller realized she wanted to give back to the dog sport community by becoming a veterinarian. She attended UC Davis for both her Bachelor’s and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees. When her school schedule allowed, Dr. Miller worked as a dog trainer and would always make time to educate veterinary school colleagues about positive reinforcement training. Dr. Miller has special interests in preventative medicine, animal behavior, and physical rehabilitation. She believes client education is vitally important in providing patients with the best care. Dr. Miller is also Fear Free Certified and strives to decrease her patients’ fear and anxiety associated with veterinary visits.
Outside of work, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and making people smile through photography and videography. She lives with and trains two Border Collies, Reckon and Mae.
Dr. Jodi Van Tine
Dr. Jodi Van Tine received a Master’s Degree in Cellular Immunology from San Jose State University in 1990. She earned the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of California, Davis, in 1994. She practiced mixed animal veterinary medicine at the Animal Medical Center and Folsom Veterinary Hospital. In 2004, she elected to treat her pet with Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and nutritional therapy. This inspired Dr. Van Tine to pursue a specialization in Eastern Medicine.
Dr. Van Tine received certification in Canine and Equine Veterinary Acupuncture in 2006 and worked as an associate at the Integrative Veterinary Center from 2006-2007. In December 2009, she was the first veterinarian to complete the College of Integrative Therapies (CIVT), earning Certification in Chinese Veterinary Herbal Medicine. She has since also received Graduate Diplomas in Chinese Veterinary Herbal Medicine and Veterinary Acupuncture. She teaches other veterinary professionals around the world through distance learning with CIVT. She unites Food Therapy, acupuncture, and Herbal Medicine with conventional medicine to promote wellness and prevent or treat disease in her patients.
Dr. Masami Seplow
Dr. Seplow was born and raised in Japan where she received a bachelor’s degree in sociology. She later moved to Florida where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida.
She holds a certificate of veterinary acupuncture from the Chi Institute (CVA) and is also a certified canine rehabilitation practitoner (CCRP).
She recently moved to Northern California after two decades of practice as a holistic veterinarian in the Los Angeles area. She enjoys the challenge of general practice but has a particular affinity for helping animals with mobility and chronic pain challenges using integrative therapies. She is an advocate for senior and/or disabled dog rescue and she has 5 rescue Chihuahuas.
Dr. De La Garza
Dr. De La Garza grew up in a small border town in Mexico where she would care for strays alongside her grandfather and sister. It was there, at a very young age, that she developed a strong sense of respect and love for animals.
Dr. De La Garza attended the University of Texas – Pan American where she obtained her B.S. in Biology with minors in Spanish and French. She then enrolled at Texas A&M University – Kingsville where she graduated with her M.S. in Molecular Biology. Despite loving lab work and research, Dr. De La Garza felt her purpose in life was to continue helping animals. She proceeded to follow her passion and pursued a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences.
Additionally, Dr. De La Garza completed a certification through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) and became a certified veterinary acupuncturist (CVA). She hopes to be able to offer additional treatment options, in conjunction to Western medicine, to improve the overall health of her patients. In the near future Dr. De La Garza hopes to further her education in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine in the fields of herbal medicine and food therapy.
In her spare time Dr. De La Garza enjoys spending time with her husband, Antonio, and their 5 rescued furbabies, traveling, spending time outdoors (hiking, camping, kayaking), riding her Peloton bike, reading, as well as trying new foods and wines.
Dr. De La Garza is also fluent in Spanish.

I have worked in Veterinary Medicine most of my life starting in High School. I originally wanted to be a vet but changed courses and went to Chiropractic School instead ,obtaining my Chiropractic degree in 1993. I have worked as an associate Chiropractor, owner and relief doctor. I got my certification in the VOM form of animal Chiropractic around 1999. Thru some life changes I got back into Veterinary Medicine and started working for Dr. Stamm in 2017. Meridian Veterinary Care’s view of animal health care blends beautifully with my holistic beliefs for human medicine. I look forward to growing with Dr. Stamm and her practice.
When I’m not working I love bodybuilding and spending time with my Rottweilers. I competed in bodybuilding in the 80’s and love lifting weights. I have raised, trained and bred Rottweilers for decades. My first rottweiler Isis was the first rottweiler to compete in agility. I have titled my dogs in agility, obedience, rally and carting. I have also trained in the sport of Schutzhund/IPO. I enjoy helping people train their own dogs and seeing the bond that develops as a result of that training.

I became part of the Meridian Veterinary Care family in June of 2020. You will mostly find me in reception to greet you and check your fur babies in. I am also a Registered Veterinary Technician and have worked in the Vet field for 20 years. I graduated from UC San Diego with a BS in Biology in 1996 and was planning to enter the human medical field when I decided to follow my true passion, which was helping animals. Since then, I have done it all, from kennels, reception, customer care, nursing, dentistry, surgery, emergency care to office management.
I was also a student at UC Davis Veterinary School from 2011-2014 but in 2014 life took me in another direction and left UC Davis so I could be a mother to my son again. I returned to working as an RVT in 2015 while starting my own side business which I currently still manage while working at Meridian. I love my job and believe in Integrative Holistic Veterinary Medicine because I have come to know that health & wellness for our beloved animals can be achieved in more ways than one. In my “spare” time, I offer animal healing services that combine my experience as a Reiki Master, certified level I sound healer, aromatherapy, energy intuitive/empath & telepathic communicator. I love to paint, create & explore anything artistic & new. My dream life would be to play in the ocean with the dolphins and turtles, lay on warm beaches in Hawaii, and wake up in the morning in my home surrounded by nature and coconut trees.
My fur family currently includes 3 cats and 2 dogs (all rescues) & all neighborhood wildlife creatures that come to visit us. I look forward to meeting you and all your fur babies and it is my goal to make their visit as fun and pleasant as possible!
Abby Molica

Animal Intuitive and Reiki Master Teacher
My life’s work has been helping families and their pets, guiding them through the difficulties and grief that come with the life and death issues of being a pet owner. I have always been able to connect with animals and because I can read their thoughts and feelings, I am able to be a translator between you and your pets.
Training
In 1983 my journey as an intuitive working with animals deepened when I was initiated in Reiki, an ancient Japanese healing art. The clarity of my work with animals continued to increase when I trained in 1989 to teach Reiki at the Master level. As my work with animals and their humans expanded I decided in 1995 to take advanced Animal Communication training with Penelope Smith, the Pioneer in Animal Communications. In 2015 I travelled to the Findhorn community in Scotland to train with Anna Breitenback, renowned Animal Communicator from South Africa.
How I work
I receive intuitively the mental images that your pet is sending to communicate how they are feeling and what they need and desire. I use Reiki and my spiritual connections to tap into, calm, and support your animal’s energy. In facing the challenges of your pet’s illness or their end of life, I create a safe and sacred space for you and your animal that honors the profound love you share. End of life decisions are not easy for any of us, but I specialize in helping you understand what your pet is feeling as I step into their paws and help you make decisions in a way that honors them, their relationship with you, and the sense of loss that death brings. I will be there to support you both.
