We are so excited to now be offering Sanawave treatments. It’s a great tool that can add quality and extend lives!

Sanawave therapy uses the controlled application of deep heat (hyperthermia) and pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF) to increase blood flow, oxygen, platelet rich proteins and other tissue repair molecules such as heat shock protein 70 (Hsp70) to promote healing.

A coupling pad is placed over the treatment area while the pet lies comfortably. Typically a gentle warming sensation is all that is felt by most patients. In most cases animals just seem to really enjoy it! We encourage owners to stay with the pet during the treatments which typically last about 30 minutes.

How many sessions are needed?

For cancer patients, we typically treat 2-3 times per week for the first month and then taper off depending on the response. For other conditions, typically one session weekly for 4 weeks is a general rule of thumb.

What is the cost of the treatment?

$150 per session, or package of 8 treatments for $1000.

Are there any side effects or risks?
